Public consultation on telecoms future

TELECOMS regulator ComReg has started a public consultation process to get views on the future shape of the industry in Ireland.

The process will be used to help shape ComReg’s strategy statement, published later this year.

The initial consultation process outlines key trends on investment in telecoms infrastructure, convergence between fixed-line and mobile phone services and regulatory changes.
