SMALL-to-medium sized companies are positive about business prospects, lobby group ISME said yesterday.

Chief executive Mark Fielding said costs remain a concern, as firms warn rising wage costs are making them increasingly uncompetitive.

The group’s latest quarterly survey found 39% of companies are more optimistic about business prospects over the next 12 months.
