The theme of the conference was ‘Safety through Experience’.

This year a management decision was made to implement a safety standard that reflected the company’s commitment to safety.

OHSAS 18001 was the international standard that was chosen. The company also decided to hold a Conference on Crane and Concrete Pump Safety.

The Safety Director & Safety Manager of Ainscough Crane Hire Ltd, and the Managing Director of Pochin Plant Ltd, two of the largest construction support companies in Europe were among the speakers on the day.

Expert speakers from the HSA, CIF and Insurance Industry in Ireland also took part. With such a broad spectrum of speakers and 350 attendees taking part, the question & answer session at the end of the conferences proved to be a lively and informative affair.
