Dell names head of Scottish operation

COMPUTER giant Dell has announced that Niall Scolard has been chosen as general manager of the firm’s new Glasgow operation.

Providing sales and technical support to British corporate and public sector customers, the Glasgow centre will complement existing sales and technical support operations in Ireland, England and India.

Mr Scolard joined Dell in 1999 and was previously general manager for insurer Axa’s direct sales operation in Ireland.
