Irish accountants can work in US

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) has negotiated a mutual recognition agreement with its American counterpart that will allow Irish people to work in the sector in the US.

The ICAI will be the only accountancy body based in Ireland whose qualification is fully recognised in the US, giving members reciprocal employment status.
