Soaring oil prices set to push petrol over €1 mark

SOARING oil prices will push the average cost of a litre of petrol at the pumps above €1 in the weeks ahead.

AA spokesman Conor Faughnan warned motorists to brace themselves for higher prices to come.

In many places a litre of petrol already costs over €1 and motorists have been advised to shop around.
