Republic has 80% of entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurial activity on both sides of the Border lags behind the US but is marginally ahead of other European countries, according to a new study from cross-border business development group InterTrade Ireland.

The study found 80% of Ireland’s 250,000 entrepreneurs were based in the Republic. The report says the economy would benefit from setting up all-island networks of entrepreneurs and informal investors.
