Google to raise €2.7bn in IPO

Google said it plans to raise as much as €2.7 billion ($3.3bn) in an initial public offering that values the company at as much as €29.6bn ($36bn).

Google will sell 24.6 million shares for between $108 and $135 a share, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The company is selling a nine per cent stake to investors and will have 268.5m Class A and Class B shares outstanding.
