Commission invites TV tenders

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) has invited applications for the provision of television content contracts under provisions of the Broadcasting Act 2001.

The contracts will cover satellite, local TV and community content. The BCI also published a policy document yesterday that aims to set out the licensing of TV services and the terms under which contractors will operate.
