McDaid named as M&S Galway boss

MARKS & SPENCER has appointed Sharon McDaid as manager of its new Galway outlet, which is due to open next month.

Ms McDaid, who is from Glasgow, has worked with the company for five years in Dublin as commercial manager. The Galway store will open on July 20 and will employ 70 people.

“Our first store to open on the west coast of Ireland is generating a lot of excitement and I am really looking forward to welcoming customers here,” Ms McDaid said.
