Smiths wins orders worth €1.3bn

Group, the British maker of aerospace parts and bomb-detection systems, won orders worth more than €1.3 billion to supply landing gear systems for Boeing’s 7E7 Dreamliner aircraft.

Smiths is scheduled to deliver the first system in the fourth quarter of 2006.
