Kingspan and Jurys Doyle shares dip

EUROPEAN markets were weaker yesterday, as was the ISEQ index, which fell 23.38 points to close at 4636.33.

Two of the biggest fallers reported their interim results. Kingspan eased 14c to close at €3.25 and Jurys Doyle Hotel Group fell 25c to €9.35.

In the financials, Bank of Ireland declined 11c to €10.48; Allied Irish Bank eased 4c to €12.76, and Irish Life & Permanent finished 5c lower at €11.50. Anglo Irish Bank went against the negative trend, climbing 10c to €9.20.
