Ryanair leads charge in Dublin

THE Dublin market advanced for the third day in succession. The ISEQ firmed 37.06 points to 6552.01 with the builders and Ryanair leading the charge.

Ryanair leads charge in Dublin

Sector leaders CRH posted a gain of 42c to close at 20.92. With 2.66 million shares traded, Kingspan strengthened 21c to E7.71 while Grafton and McInerney continued the positive trend, rising 29c and 15c respectively.

Ryanair continued its recent solid roll, up 6c to E6.54. The budget carrier announced that its passenger numbers grew 20% in January, while its load factor gained 3%. Another main mover on the day was Elan, who added 20c on news that it secured a patent in Japan for one of its products.
