Cautious optimism in tourism sector

The tourism industry throughout Ireland must continue to work hard throughout the summer months to fully capitalise on what is expected to be an exceptional year in terms of visitor numbers, the Chairman of Fáilte Ireland Ms Gillian Bowler said yesterday.

Most sectors, while cautious about business levels, are generally more optimistic than last year.
