Smart welcomes Comreg decision

Smart Telecom, the fastest growing supplier of residential and business telecommunications services in Ireland, has welcomed the decision by ComReg to reduce the cost of Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) charges by 50%.

From February, the price for each connection will fall by from €121.52 to €58, a reduction of more than 50%.

This price will reduce even further to €55 per connection when volumes of orders exceed 50,000 lines and to €49 per connection when over 100,000 orders have been completed.
