Minmet succeeds in mineral targets

Exploration company Minmet has been successful in its applications to develop a series of mineral targets in central Sweden.

Minmet is leading a consortium of industrial and financial Swedish partners that have made the application. The areas were previously exploited for their kerogen content between 1942 and 1966, with some 50 million tonnes mined in this period. The area is also believed to contain aluminium, nickel and other elements.
