Poga’s Wonderland has €1.4m debt

A meeting of creditors of the theme park Poga’s Wonderland has been told the firm has debts of almost €1.4m.

The theme park at Goff’s in Co Kildare closed last August leaving staff without pay, but they may be compensated from the Government-backed Employers’ Insolvency Fund.

There were angry exchanges at the creditors’ meeting held in Dublin when it emerged there was a deficit of €1,378,000 for unsecured creditors.
