Family businesses face challenge

A SIGNIFICANT majority of Irish family businesses say cost control is the biggest challenge they face in running their operations.

That compares with 51% of their European counterparts according to a study out today by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

It covers over 1,000 family businesses across 12 European countries and includes all of Ireland.
