SMALL and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) face into 2006 with expectations of higher sales.

SMEs expecting strong sales growth

The Chambers Ireland/Irish Examiner SME Business Confidence Survey - Review 2005 and Outlook 2006 published today has found that last year 54% increased turnover while 59% are forecasting better sales in the current year.

Despite concerns over rising costs and higher wage bills the SME sector is generally optimistic on the outlook for 2006.
