NEGATIVE market sentiment across European indices was reflected on the Dublin Exchange.

Irish market reflects European trend

The ISEQ was 11.36 points off at 4211.94 as caution got the better of investors. Leading the fall were CRH and Elan with Allied Irish Bank off 2c to 13.08.

Stocks in positive territory included Ryanair up 1.98% and DCC 15 cent higher following on from its good results on Wednesday. Food stocks Greencore and Glanbia both gained 5 and 4 cent respectively. Glanbia said yesterday that it expects to meet 2003 forecasts.
