Council looks to utilise top facilities

WITH the €60m refurbishment and extension to County Hall at Carrigrohane Road nearing completion, Cork County Council is now looking for preliminary submissions on how to maximise the use of conference, hospitality, staff dining and exhibition facilities.

Ireland’s tallest building now has an extra floor and a glazed pavilion. The 16th floor, formerly the council chamber, is now a 180-seat conference centre.
