THE ISEQ fell in line with world markets yesterday as spiralling oil prices reached record highs.

The index of leading Irish shares was down 32.34 points to 5342.18.

In a mixed performance for the financials, rivals AlB and Bank of Ireland were among the main losers, dropping 12c and 6c respectively. The former, which went ex dividend, closed at €12.78.
