Nikkei slides

JAPANESE stock benchmarks declined for a second day in three. Advantest Corp led technology shares lower after cutting its full-year profit forecast.

The Nikkei 225 Stock Average fell 73.64, or 0.6%, to 11,850.25 at the 3pm close in Tokyo.

The broader Topix index slid 4.55, or 0.4%, to 1195.45.
