Aer Lingus to sign €330m Airbus deal

AER LINGUS is to sign a $400 million (€330m) deal for the delivery of four Airbus A330 aircraft, according to weekend reports.

The first aircraft will be delivered in the final quarter of this year with the remainder scheduled for next year. It marks the first stage of Aer Lingus’ long-haul expansion and could lead to a larger deal with Airbus, down the line, in relation to the aircraft maker’s new generation A350 jets.
