Property investment will deliver in long-term

DESPITE an expected surge in equity markets after the taking of Baghdad, property will continue to be a favoured investment vehicle, a seminar was told yesterday.

International Investments director with CB Hamilton Osborne King, Liam Lenehan said uncertainty was set to continue in markets and noted “in a way, the more uncertainty the better for property markets.”

The Irish are not the only people to see security in bricks and mortar, he asserted at a Cork city breakfast seminar titled ‘Doom or Gloom?’
