Honour for Kenmare

EXPLORATION firm Kenmare Resources has been honoured with a major award for its work in developing its US$450 million (€344 million) Moma titanium minerals project in the southern African state of Mozambique.

Project Finance, a specialist international magazine, said Kenmare’s financing package to fund its activities was the best put-together transaction of 2004.

The magazine said Kenmare deserved credit for its ability to handle a large number of lenders, as well as the complex requirements of export credit agencies.
