Fine Gael promises small firms minister
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny speaking at the UCC Annual Enterprise Conference said that in government his party would appoint a minister to look after the small and medium size enterprise sector (SMEs).
“Fine Gael in government would appoint a minister of state with specific responsibility for developing an enterprise culture and small business. An active minister of state would be a driver of change across the State sector and would help to tackle the cross-cutting issues which impact on small business and make it difficult to set up and grow,” he predicted.
