Closed Croker would cost €90m

IRELAND'S economy stands to lose over €90 million between 2006 and 2008 if Ireland’s soccer and rugby home internationals are switched to overseas venues, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce said yesterday.

The chamber called on the GAA to open up Croke Park for soccer and rugby when the redevelopment of Lansdowne Road begins.
