Seal of quality for wild salmon

The world’s first quality assurance scheme for wild salmon to have been awarded the internationally recognised standard EN45011 was launched by Bord Iascaigh Mhara yesterday.

Minister of State John Browne presented certificates to the first seven skippers, three from Donegal and four from Waterford, whose vessels received accreditation under the new scheme.
