Business booming at Knock airport

PASSENGER numbers at Knock airport in the first three months of the year were double last year’s level, the airport said yesterday. More than 106,000 passengers travelled through the airport Between January and March.

Airport chief executive Liam Scollan said: “we are delighted that the airport is well on target to reach half-a-million passengers by the end of 2005.”
