Doctors can lose 13 years of sleep

Doctors can lose 13 years of sleep

However, how well you sleep depends on what you do for a living.

For example, with a sleep deficit of 13 years during their working life, one-in-four doctors regularly go to work after just four hours sleep.

At the other end of the scale, mechanics have the best night’s sleep. Four out of ten manage nine hours a night, much more than the recommended eight.
