New exchange to promote bartering

A new business-to-business online exchange aimed at promoting bartering has been launched.

Barter Ireland aims to allow member businesses to trade goods and services with fellow members.

Exchange co-founder James Flynn said: “Our research shows there is a large market in Ireland for a trade mechanism which allows businesses to barter.”
