ELECTRICAL goods retailer Dixons says sales in Ireland have grown by more than a fifth in the past six months.

The British group said sales in the 28 weeks to November 12 grew by 22%.

The company has 17 stores in Ireland, trading under the Dixons, Currys and PC World brands.
