Euronext plans rival bid for LSE

Pan-European stock exchange Euronext is planning a rival bid for the London Stock Exchange, it was reported yesterday.

The Paris-based bourse intends to unveil them this week, several Sunday newspapers reported.

Last week, the LSE rebuffed a £1.35 billion takeover approach from rival Deutsche Boerse.
