Shares in Dublin finished higher yesterday at 4753.06.

The financials performed strongly, up 28.44 points overall. AIB and Bank of Ireland nudged ahead 2 cents and 3 cents respectively.

Anglo-Irish recovered some of yesterday’s losses, adding 25 cents to 12.10 while Irish Life and Permanent bucked the trend shedding 11 cents.
