IRISH customers of mobile phone operator O2 continue to get the biggest bills of the company’s 27 million subscribers.

Figures from O2 show the company’s 1.6 million subscribers here spent on average €572 on their mobile phones last year. British 02 customers paid €393 on average, while the German equivalent was €349.

The gap becomes wider in the lucrative bill pay market. O2 Ireland’s monthly customers spent €1,155 on average last year.
