Aer Lingus set for 75% internet sales

AER LINGUS said it was on course to sell 75% of its seats over the internet by the end of the year, after new figures showed a 50% year-on-year increase in online bookings.

The airline sold almost 670,000 seats through its website last month, with flight prices starting from €4.

25% of seats were sold at the lowest fare available during the year, up from 12% the previous year.
