Taoiseach opens research facility

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern officially opened a €26 million UCD Centre for Synthesis and Chemical Biology (CSCB) building at the Belfield campus yesterday.

This is the largest single investment in chemistry research by the Government.

The six-laboratory CSCB was funded under a €26m grant from the Higher Education Authority.
