Retailer ATMs extend BofI reach

Bank of Ireland said yesterday that over €110 million has been dispensed from its new retailer ATMs since launch in February this year.

Retailer ATMs extend BofI reach

There have been over 1.4 million withdrawals from the retailer machines.

Many of these retailer ATMs have been installed in rural locations and have already made a significant impact on the lives of communities all over the country, the bank says.

These sites include towns such as Tulla, Co Clare, Fethard, Co Tipperary and Rosscarbery, Co Cork, where residents formerly had to travel up to 15km to reach the nearest ATM.

Bank of Ireland has over 280 retailer ATMs nationwide, over half of the 500 planned under the two-year programme.
