O'Brien buys BoI shares for €550,000

MILLIONAIRE businessman Denis O'Brien has splashed out another €550,000 on buying shares in Bank of Ireland.

Mr O'Brien, who is a non-executive director of the bank, acquired 50,000 shares yesterday at a price of €10.92 per share.

It is the second share purchase by Mr O'Brien this week.
