Small firms expect business to improve

SMALL business body ISME said its firms remain bullish about future business prospects, with companies showing optimism for the next 12 months.

A survey by ISME of 320 of its members found that 42% expect their business to improve in the company year. This figure represents a 16-percentage point increase on the corresponding figure last year

The lobby group says this significant turnaround is due to improved economic conditions and that last year’s levels were among the worst ever recorded.
