FG hits out at Irish broadband demise

FINE GAEL has branded the Government’s broadband policy as a failure and called for new legislation to ensure adequate broadband access nationwide.

Party communications spokesman Bernard Durkan said concerns about the lack of high-speed broadband are well placed.

“This issue has been raised repeatedly by Fine Gael throughout the year and at the Oireachtas Energy & Communications Committee.
