World’s crisis may not be banks — but food

PEOPLE love high drama. “It’s the end of the world as we know it” is the new catch phrase for international finance and the banks.

Last weekend it looked like the end of the worldfor Fianna Fáil and as we know people and indeedthe general public are fickle.

In the end the international financial crisis will be forgotten and the world will move on. People will take holidays, get married and do all the normal things.
