Cost competitiveness has become a big issue in this economy and the drift from our shores, now hitting the multinational sector, should be a call to order.

We are starting to lose quality jobs. That was not in the IDA’s or the Government’s script. Moving up the value-added chain was meant to insulate us from competition from low cost manufacturing centres in poorer countries.
