Dewey leaves Ulster for Glasgow
Ulster's Scotland international centre Rob Dewey has agreed to join Glasgow Warriors on a three-year contract.
The inside centre has dropped down the ladder of players at the northern province and was satisfied to return home in order to kick start his career.
"I'm looking forward to returning to Scotland and joining Glasgow," said Dewey, who spent two years at Edinburgh before leaving for Ulster.
"Glasgow have been on the up for the last three seasons now and their win over Toulouse in France back in January really shows they are a team to be reckoned with.
"It's too good an opportunity to miss out on. It's going to be tough to earn a place in a very competitive Glasgow back-line, however, I'm looking forward to the challenge."
Meanwhile, Ulster's ultra-consistent Ireland A full-back Bryn Cunningham has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a double fracture to his cheekbone.
Cunningham sustained the injury in the contact in the early stages of an Ulster A fixture against Munster A and was immediately treated at a nearby hosptial.
He will see a specialist today (Monday) where it will be decided if Cunningham requires a possible stabilising operation. It could spell the end of a long and admirable career.
