Stardust drama up for top TV award
An RTE drama depicting the Stardust nightclub fire which claimed the lives of 48 young people has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s prestigious Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
The two-part programme ‘Stardust’, screened in February, relates the tragic events of St Valentine’s night in 1981 when a devastating blaze broke out at the club in Artane, north Dublin.
