Fugees reunion talks 'dead', says Pras

Former Fugees rapper Pras has ruled out talk of a reunion with his former bandmates Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, insisting negotiations for a comeback are now "dead".

The 'Killing Me Softly' stars originally split in 1997, but reformed to headline a New York concert for Dave Chapelle's movie 'Block Party' in September 2004. They went on to open the 2005 BET Music Awards and even released single 'Take It Easy' later that year.

But plans to record a new album have stalled completely, and Pras' comments suggest Hill is the one responsible for the cancelled project.

"(It's) straight dead," he said. "You know, unfortunately Miss Hill, she got some things she needs to deal with. I wish her the best, but life goes on."
