Firefighters say they have brought under control a huge fire that terrified residents of Lebanon’s capital five weeks after a massive blast killed and wounded thousands of people there.

The blaze in Beirut led authorities to order the removal of all dangerous materials from the country’s ports and airport to avoid more such incidents which have traumatised the nation of five million.
