The use of Grok — an AI tool embedded in the social media platform X — to create sexually explicit content, including child sexual abuse material, has prompted widespread concern.

AI minister Niamh Smyth will meet with executives from social media platform X on Friday amid concerns about its artificial intelligence chatbot Grok.

The Fianna Fáil TD wrote to X last week seeking a meeting as controversy over Grok’s “nudify” feature grew.
