Watch: Mass shooting at Manhattan skyscraper leaves 5 dead, including gunman

A person who opened fire inside a mid-town Manhattan skyscraper housing the National Football League headquarters and offices of several major financial institutions on Monday, including hedge fund giant Blackstone, has been "neutralized," the New York City police commissioner said.

Investigators believe Shane Tamura, of Las Vegas, was trying to target the headquarters of the National Football League (NFL) but took the wrong lift, according to New York City mayor Eric Adams. One of the four victims slain in the gun violence was a 36-year-old New York Police Department officer who immigrated to the US from Bangladesh.
